MeticulousYou really feel like the chef has gone out of his way to prepare a meal just for you. The service is exactly what one would expect of the right kind of 5 star swiss hospitality, warm and inviting but never pressured to order more than what you want, or automatically recommended to choose the most expensive drink on the menu. The staff cater to your needs and make wonderful suggestions. I look forward to returning very soon!

The only reason we left was that the hotel was hosting a wedding Saturday night so walked to another restaurant in town.I can not say enough kind remarks about this hotel restaurant! The moment we walked up we were greeted with friendly professionalism and shown to a table overlooking the small but beautiful garden. Our drinks (champagne apero) were brought with lovely bread twists a perfect compliment. Another reviewer commented on a waiter not speaking English and it was not a positive experience for them; we had a waiter Olivier who is French and doesn't really speak English but as my husband is fluent in French this was not a problem and he was delightful, helping our daughter who is learning french and charming knowledgeable thru out. The food both nights was perfect, tasty but not fussy with beautiful flavours and presentation.The staff are attentive and efficient without being intrusive. They also were quick to pickup that I do not speak French, and spoke English with me and French with my family. We each had different dishes each night so were able to sample the menu fairly extensively from lamb to fish from the lake to veal and pigeon. All were divine! Live guitar accompanied the meal on both evenings which added to the sense of peace and relaxation.We also ordered a beef tartare up to the room for our dog and it was garnished with a bit of lettuce....he seemed to enjoy it immensely. I don't think you can you wrong with anything on the menu, go and enjoy!

Unbelievable quality and range of seafood starters, great main courses (we chose turkey) and huge range of desserts we could only sample about six, all of which were outstanding. An occasion and meal to remember for life!
