We were in the gastronomic restaurant (2 etoiles, macarrons, or michelin stars , though there is the Terrace next door, which is a 1 etoile bistro of the same proprietors. We were told that in the winter time,...the gastronomic restaurant moves into the Auberge (Inn proper, which is on the other side of the building. The setting is beautiful, the sun was setting over the Jura mountains in the distance, with lake Geneva Leman below us. The service was impeccable, our 3 servers were very attentive, friendly and knowledgeable about our food, and wine. I should also mention that I was impressed with their patience, as they were very courteous to some rich tourists who were sat at the table next to us, who were quite rude to the staff in the location of their table, and who drank soda with their gastronomic meal!!! To me this is a crime! We were also visited by Mr Legras, who was very friendly, and who we think has a strong link to Noirmoutier le Vendeé for some reason! ; Our meal (menu plaisir was outstanding, with lots of surprises. Highlights were the Iberico Pork and the King Crab. If anything, a constructive criticism would be to use less gelatin in the sweet recipes, as it was noticeable. The presentation and style was exemplary. Our server had recommended a different wine to accompany the different dishes, at my request, and she did a fine job. The Riesling from Neuchatel was a delight with the desserts. Highly recommended, and can 't wait to return. Thank you to our friends for giving us this experience to us as a thank you present.

The location was great with a large wind... read more We visited our daughter and her family. We found Le Floris in accidents as all the restaurants in Hermance were closed. The location was great with a large window and a terrace overlooking the lake. We chose all the three course lunch menu. That was a herbal tart, duck breast and rumbaba. Hey, everyone was beautifully presented and delicious. A local Gamay accompanied the meal and was excellent. Our granddaughter had native fried fish and chips.

When we arrived I was happy to... read more What a great experience I had at this restaurant! I booked a table on the Cafe F. for two on the terrace for a warm Friday night. When we arrived I was happy to know that our table was amazing, right on the edge of...the terrace so we had the wonderful view on the lake without any obstacles. The service was outstanding. Really nice waiters, friendly and discrete. It was difficult to know what to order since everything seemed so tasty. I went for the focaccia with shrimps and the raviolli with morille and champignon de Paris. My husband chose the tartare de dorade and the 36h cooked pork. We were both very happy with our choices. Everything was delicious!!!! As a desert I got the vacherin with rhubarb. strawberries and vanilla meringue. AMAZING!!! I recommend this place to everyone!!!!

And if you want to make the perfect trip, start from MONTREUX and travel from this beautiful place along Lake Geneva to la LENK with the... GOLDENPASS Railway. It's fabulous. Once the Lenkerhof has arrived, he will send you her sedan. You will be in heaven.

Great little appetizers and pre/post desserts and a nice sorbet to break things up in the middle. Foie-Gras poilee to start, turbot for main, too full for cheese...or dessert. Great wines by the glass, probably the best selection I 've seen. I don 't know if it has a Michelin rating but 2 stars in my book. Only bettered by Chevrier (sorry) and Pic, and that 's for food, service was better than both.... I will return, the price is worth the upgrade from the bistro , don 't miss it.
