Post and Vine, a popular dining destination in Vero Beach, offers a lively atmosphere with its spacious open-air layout, ideal for enjoying the Florida weather. While the friendly service and vibrant ambiance are commendable, the culinary offerings have drawn mixed reviews. Appetizers and some entrees, including seafood and meats, often lack seasoning, leading to overall blandness, particularly at higher price points. Happy hour specials provide some value, but budget-conscious diners may still feel the pinch. While the restaurant may excel in casual bites and drinks, guests express hesitation about returning for a full meal experience.

I love the casual vibe, and the all outdoor seating. The last time we went, we ate at the bar. The service is friendly and in point. The food is better than expected. Try the burger! The portions are generous and the prices fair.

Just met a friend for drinks apps after work. Nice place. The lights add to the ambiance. Service was great. Waitress was working the bar, also, but it wasn't a bad thing.

Started with the shrimp appetizer, it was great and that was the highlight, thankfully I kept the sauce to pour on my asparagus. Ordered the ribeye special, only flavor came from the bacon jelly which was almost to sweet. No salt or pepper were used when the steak was over cooked. The mash potatoes and asparagus, same super bland. My wife order the grouper special, 6oz portion for $38. Again fish, sauce, vegetables, and rice were bland, no seasoning. Maybe the burgers and sandwiches are where it's at here, but I'm scared to go back and try those after this showing.

This is a follow-up review I’ve been meaning to write for a while, and I finally returned to Post and Vine at 1919 14th Ave, Vero Beach tonight. As I’ve said before, I always give a restaurant a second chance if they didn’t impress me the first time. So here we go... Things didn’t start off great right away, though it wasn’t the restaurant’s fault. Just after we sat down, a heavy rainstorm hit. Luckily, Post and Vine has covered outdoor seating, but the wind was strong enough that we got a little wet. Thankfully, it passed quickly and the evening improved. I ordered the PREZ-CHICKEN—two pretzel and bacon-crusted chicken cutlets topped with wholegrain mustard beurre blanc, served with fries and broccoli. The bacon added a subtle smoky flavor, and the pretzel crust gave a satisfying crunch. The mustard beurre blanc was a perfect match. Barb had the MEDITERRANEAN CHICKEN, a char-grilled breast topped with artichokes, sundried tomatoes, feta cheese, and fresh basil in a lemon beurre blanc, accompanied by jasmine rice and broccoli. It was perfectly seasoned and juicy. Our friend Angela chose the ROASTED BEET salad with fresh mixed greens, goat cheese, red onions, and candied walnuts tossed in a light Dijon vinaigrette, topped with a generous portion of Scottish salmon. The combination of beets and goat cheese was delicious, and the salmon was surprisingly good. Lastly, Dan stuck to appetizers and had the FILET TIPS—hand-cut tenderloin pieces seared and served over rosemary and thyme sautéed mushrooms and caramelized onions, topped with bleu cheese crumbles and drizzled with bordelaise sauce—as well as a bowl of LOBSTER BISQUE. The flavors across both dishes were spot on. He did mention that the filet pieces were a bit small and outnumbered by the mushrooms. Overall, this visit was much better than our last. Our server was attentive, checking on us frequently and keeping our drinks topped up. Entrees run around $24 on average, with burgers and sandwiches also available.

Fantastic atmosphere. It took a bit of time to get our drinks since it was very busy, but overall, we had a wonderful time.
