Went again last night and it was great. Beautiful sunset on a beautiful night. Dinner was yummy and the wine selection is extensive. Highly recommended before and I stand by that View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Peakfine:
This spa resort is high end, this restaurant is not. As a guest, you are "captive" to the exorbitant prices as the nearest restaurant off of the property is 20-45 minutes away. The cheese in my potato gratin tasted moldy. I thought it was blue or stilton cheese, the server confirmed it was Parmesan. Simply put, the menu and quality of food does not meet the standards of this spa resort. They can do much better. View all feedback.

We arrive at restaurant at 8:15PM. Our meal arrive at 9:30PM. Server spoke to manager about delay but never heard from him. After receiving meal...we found the halibut overcooked. Extremely disappointed in the whole experience. This restaurant is expensive and you would expect better attention then what we got. I finally asked for the manager whole reluctantly came by to see us for his half hearted apology. Did nothing for us....except see you later. Better to eat at the golf course, they will pick you up. Save your money as this manager certainly doesn't respect your choice in cuisine.
If this were Napa or Aspen people would NOT come. Very average experience at in inflated cost. Like a Keg. Hi - my name is sue and the special is 35.95
Ate at Peakfine last night. The 3 of us ordered different items off the menu. The food presentation was so bad. No colour. Everything was brown and also tasted "brown" I pushed my plate to the side and when the server asked if everything was okay I said no. The fish was dry, tasteless, rubbery. It's so sad that such a beautiful hotel does not have a good restaurant.
This is the second time we have eaten here 5 months apart - In February my meal was a very low O.K. - My Wife's meal was Halibut and she mentioned to me that it did not taste " good " It looked good and I sloughed it off to her being a bit picky - then when she mentioned it again I tasted it and it was soft and mushy with a fishy flavor - I told her not to eat any more. When the waiter came and ask if every thing was O.K. because her meal was less than half eaten, we told him that the fish was bad he said he was sorry that it was not to her liking. He brought us each a complementary Macaroon and a $200 plus Bill. July we go to the Resort for our anniversary and of course eat at the Peakfine Dining Room - We order a nice salad ( that you could tell had been plated and refrigerated 1 or 2 hours earlier ) but not to cause a fuss we talked about it and moved on to ordering our main course, My wife ordered chicken stuffed with crab and I ordered Beef Tenderloin (medium rare), the waitress left for about 3 minutes and my Wife when to the powder room, before she returned both of our meals had arrived ( she was not gone 4 Minutes). We looked at each other and she said that was quick, looking at both meals they had a very dried glaze to them. How do you Order, Cook and Deliver chicken that is cooked but just worm and dried out a bit? The veggies and potatoes were just worm also. My Medium Rare Tenderloin came worm with a dried glaze and worm veggies and worm potatoes. This food was precooked and kept in a worming oven as restaurants do to keep Prime Rib - but to do this to Tenderloin and Chicken Oscar - I will stay at the Sparkling Hills Resort but never again will I eat there at there restaurant. Predator Ridge has a fine dining room just around the corner.
