2nd time now the hush puppies are small and bland.
Wonderful food great prices in quiet friendly little town . Great place to stop eat on your way through to Panama City Beach Florida . Would definitely recommend! ?
Hadn't been by in a few years cuz I felt they'd been getting a little pricey for a little Country Diner. Stopped in the other day to pick up some takeout, and see what their food was like these days. I got the house special redfish $18, and she got the six piece fried shrimp dinner $16. Was very disappointed in the quality of the food. I turned down the onions and green pepper topping they kept suggesting since it was blackened, but finally relented. When I got home my blackened fish was swimming in a pool of juice and greasy bell peppers and onions. Even after damping off the filet with a paper towel it still tasted greasy! Shrimp were large, and were haphazardly breaded. Some heavy some very light, and they were greasy too. We did not enjoy our food, and felt it was overpriced.
There expensive but I think you get your money's worth there fried pickles are so yummy and the service is awesome it's a mom and pops
Preface: the place was full.My food came out a little warmer than room temp. My catfish wasn't good and not even my dog would eat it when I tried to give it to him once I got home. I'll give them another try when they are less busy.
