I have dined in Stephan at least 4 times. The only dish that worth the money is the lentil soup. Tonight’s tri tip sandwich was tasteless. But the lentil soup was good. In previous times I had ordered lasagna , it was served cold. I had to request to be warmed again and still served cold indicating that it was not fresh. The gyro dish was also not impressive. Delicious homemade Greek and Mediterranean cuisine! Today was my first time going to Stephans Market and I was pleasantly surprised. Nice atmosphere, attentive service, and truly delicious food. Everything I tasted was exceptional. Made me reminisceabout my previous and memorable trips to the beautiful Greek Islands. I will definitely go back and try some other menu items.
We ordered the lamb gyro with fries and a salad, and I must say, it was absolutely delicious. The fries are fresh and flavorful, and the Greek salad is topped with a light dressing that complements it perfectly. The lamb gyro is cooked just right, and the portions are generous. The staff here is incredibly friendly and attentive to the unique details of our order. The French fries are among the best I've ever had, and the rest of the food was equally delicious. While some may consider it expensive, I believe it offers great value. The outdoor seating area is charming, with beautiful grapevines and fruit trees.
My son and I really enjoy this place. I always order the lamb gyro combo because it's incredibly delicious and packed with flavor. Last time, my son tried the lamb meatballs, which came with a Greek salad, seasoned fries, and four large, thick patties. It took him two days to finish, as the portions are quite generous. The staff is friendly, and the service is quick. The prices are reasonable and definitely worth the excellent food.
Cashier and server very polite, great food,very clean restaurant, in my opinion, one of the best restaurants in Ventura!
