Corrales Mexican Food - Ventura

"The restaurant offers amazing food near the coast, creating a very relaxing atmosphere. The parking situation is nice and I was able to find an immediate spot. They also have a kids menu, making it kid-friendly. Additionally, the restaurant is wheelchair accessible as it is completely flat with ramps and no stairs."

I ordered the burrito and tacos and was delighted with both! The pork was incredibly tasty and the fish tacos were heavenly.

I ordered for pickup and was told it would be ready at 5:00pm. However, I ended up waiting until 6:15pm for my food to be ready. I sat in the parking lot for 1.25 hours.

Thid place is across the street from several hotels. I have gotten food to go here and have been happy with it. The basic bean and cheese burrito here is excellent in its simplicity, with some of the sauces provided. I also like the asada burritos. The meat is fresh and well seasoned. There is also a shredded beef burrito and a shredded chicken burrito here. Those two I have only had once but they were good also. My go to is bean n cheese and asada. These burritos do well to buy now and eat a little bit later, and that is good when staying away from home.

Service was average. Food was nothing special and certainly not what you think of when you think Corrales. Bland, burrito full of beans and rice, and very little meat. Chorizo that was there was partially burnt. Worst burrito I’ve had to date from Corrales. Chips were stale. Salsa was like jello. A real bummer overall. Wouldn’t recommend to any long time customers, you’ll be disappointed.
