My family went to this restaurant for dinner and we were extremely impressed with the taste of the food. The dishes were cooked without oil and the service was unbeatable. We ended up ordering more dishes than we had originally planned because everything was so delicious.
We had a few average dishes since we arrived at closing time and had limited options for South Indian cuisine. A staff member recommended the ghee masala, which turned out to be average and expensive. Overall, the food did not live up to the price, but the staff were supportive.
On our way back from harur we just decided to have a decent lunch. It is near to ratnagiri murugan temple. But when you go towards vellore/bangalore you have this nice hotel at your left side at the service road. When you come from salem...it is on the right side and you need to take a right u turn. Before lunch we had chettinad soup. Spicy and tasty. Then the real south lunch. It was raining on the day we visited but they served hot and white thumba poo) soft rice Before that chappathi (real soft) with korma had couple of the same. Now rice and dal podi with ghee.very tasty. Then moved on to sambar white carrot) side dishes plenty. Karai, beetroot, pudala and water melon chutney. Pappad crispy pickles less oil and less hot. Then we had tomoto rasam.had two time rice. After that mor kulambu. Even at this sky high price of onion we were served with onion bukoda Good combination. We finished with thick non soar curd. Special vella (black jaggery) payaasam Had two cups. Atlast we finished with butter milk. Tummy full of good ans hygienic food. If you cross vellore or you visit ratnagiri pl enjoy tasty food at this hotel
We stopped for lunch on our way back to Chennai and were extremely impressed by the delicious food. We will definitely be returning for another visit.
