What Grid L likes about My Home Cuisine:
Cheap and filling meal. Had a beef stew with rice, fried fish, and fried chicken. Over all it was not bad although the fried items were slightly on the bland and dry side for my taste. Pretty decent for food on campus. I liked that the containers were thick and microwave-able plastic which is good for take out people. Edit: Inconsistent portions sometimes and some of the food items can be on the greasy side. Still a... View all feedback. What Tina Li doesn't like about My Home Cuisine:
The female boss, who speaks fluent Chinese, has a very bad attitude. She probably pretended not to hear, and didn’t respond even after being called several times. It’s terrible. View all feedback.

Affordable average Chinese take-out around UBC, would recommend it if you aren't too picky about food quality and just wanna grab food as a quick lunch.

read moreA Chinese fast food restaurant located on the UBC campus offers authentic dishes with a large selection to choose from. The food is fast, friendly, and affordable, especially in the evenings when special discounts are offered. The portions are generous, making it a good value for money option for students. While the female boss may have a bad attitude, the restaurant is still a popular spot among Chinese college students at UBC. The menu includes a variety of dishes from different Chinese regions, with some standout options like fried pork, ginger beef, and lemon chicken. Despite some negative reviews about the manager's behavior, the overall consensus is that this restaurant is a solid choice for a quick and tasty meal on campus.

If you are craving for an authentic, decent Chinese food at UBC, you will probably need to travel all the way to the village.
Located in the deep dark and somewhat dirty food court of the UBC Village.
