Doolami Dessert in Marpole offers late-night Asian sweets made with the best ingredients, with main items like double scoop ice cream and mango sago cream. The prices are slightly higher but reflect the quality of the desserts, which cater to less-sweet Asian tastes. The shaved ice is particularly recommended, with unique options like dragon fruit. Although desserts may be pricey, the portions are generous, and the quality is evident. The atmosphere is clean and modern, with friendly service. Despite some minor issues with toppings, Doolami remains a top choice for high-quality Chinese desserts on the Vancouver West Side.

Was Pork ninjas at Doolami Dessert a mag?
Doolami (literal translation is cute and yummy? specializes in all Asian desserts. The range of desserts is like no other chinese place I have seen. Here you can order rare fruits that are not normally carried in stores including durian, australian mango and Ecuador dragon fruit to name a few. We got the opportunity of a lifetime to sample most if not all the items off their menu. View all feedback.

After seeing all the delicious pictures, I couldn't resist coming to this restaurant. My girlfriend and I decided to order the mango shaved ice and waffle ice cream, and we were both amazed by the flavors. This place uses fresh fruits daily and doesn't compromise on quality. While some may find the prices a bit high, I believe it's worth trying at least once. I look forward to coming back to try the dragon fruit. The service was friendly, the restaurant was clean, and the decor was up-to-date. There is also plenty of parking available in front on Granville.

The snow ice at this restaurant is delicately shaved, resembling soft fresh falling snow. This place is unbeatable for this cold treat, especially with their unique golden dragonfruit topped with grass jelly. It may be a bit pricey at over $20, but the subtle sweetness of the dragonfruit is truly amazing. I highly recommend trying it, especially if you're a fan of dragonfruit like me. Personally, I enjoy it with lychee snow ice. While I found the mango snow ice to be less flavorful, they also offer a variety of other homemade Asian desserts such as mango sago, durian sago, black sesame soup, and homemade ice cream.

The restaurant was very generous with the portion of mangoes, which were perfectly ripe, sweet, and delicious. I tried the Golden Dragon Fruit Snow Ice dessert, which costs $21. Although I was initially shocked by the price, I learned that they import the dragon fruit daily from Ecuador to ensure it is at optimal ripeness. Once I took my first bite, I was completely sold. The dragon fruit was amazing - I have never tasted one that was this good before. I was surprised by how sweet and flavorful it was.

With all the photos popping on to my online feed, this one has long been on my list. I read foodies and food bloggers alike declaring that their sago and mango ice the best to hit the block. Ironically we tried neither. Instead, we were craving durian and knew they offered it here, so that was reason enough for us to go.

Doolami Dessert is located in the Marpole area serving up delicious Chinese desserts. They pride themselves with using the best ingredients possible in their desserts. Everything is made in-house and they do not use any concentrates, preservatives, or sweeteners.<br/ <br/ I came here with some awesome foodies and we ate through the menu. I’ve been to Doolami before and enjoyed their desserts, so it was good to have a revisit to see whats new.<br/ <br/ Overall, I did enjoy Doolami and it’s a very popular place to go at night. Their prices are higher than most dessert places but they work really hard to ensure the quality is there. The desserts are catered towards an Asian palette, so its not too sweet. I would recommend the sago desserts and the shaved ice. If you can’t wait in line to get a seat, grab a pint to go as an alternative.
