Seems very hole in the wall when you find it amidst the other little restaurants and there is hardly any seating in there but if there is some, take it, you won't be disappointed. I love places that offer half size orders, full size would have been an obscene amount, even for a teen boy. Had a half size appetizer and two half orders of meals that were excellent and quick to come out. Pleasantly spicy, good amount for... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Chongqing:
We visited here with a party of 8. The service was wonderful. Some of the dishes were good (duck lettuce wraps, corn soup, lemon chicken, dumplings and appetizer with peanut sauce) others not so good(prawns with cashews, noodle bowl, green beans). Would I go there again? Probably, but I would try some other places first. View all feedback.
Always on point. Been going here (and the location off Commercial for years and I always receive, consistently, the same good food. Tried many of their dishes but hands down, their Ginger Beef is the best thing on the menu. Well, I haven't tried their Dan Dan Noodles yet so maybe I will recant that statement but man is their Ginger Beef good. I'm also a fan of their Crispy Chow Mein, yum.<br/ <br/ The lunch special is such a great deal, I highly recommend. Service is super fast and friendly. Love this place :
Great food great service and delivery guy was able to aswear question's and benefit from my service as a out of town experienced order food dude. also i would recommend this place this to people i got service from in gateway school and residence staff and support teacher's they know who they were.
Any foodie/resident in the downtown Vancouver area knows there is a serious lack of half decent Chinese restaurants on this side of the bridge. That's why I was pleased with my first time delivery from Chongqing (Robson location). I ordered 3 items from the Chef's Specials menu chicken lettuce wraps, wonton with red pepper and peanut sauce, and the Singaporean shrimp and meat vermicelli noodles. The prices seem a bit higher than other places but that is because the quality is better (not greasy at all). the flavors are unique and delicious, and the portions are large. I have enough food to last me for 3 4 dinners. I took the advice of another poster here and called in my order instead of placing it online. The delivery person arrived right on the 45th minute, just as it says on their website. I also like that they only require an $18 minimum for delivery. I would definitely order from these guys again. I look forward to trying the Peking duck next time.
Really Liked The Daily Lunch Menu Special Menu.<br/ Loved The food mouth watering indeed. Ambience is cool, the staff are very friendly and ya Ginger Beef was awesome.
Being a huge noodle fan. I had to revisit this place after a huge let down somewhere else yesterday...And so glad I did! Ordered the beef with celery and dan dan noodles with pork chop..sooo good! The broth was flavorful for the beef and celery. The dan dan soup you can taste the peanuts with just enough amount of heat. Good customer service, my order came pretty quick and good portion size.
