From Zermatt the italian side of the skiarena is a nice alternative to see the famouse matterhorn from the other side. It is a nice and sunny spot with a lot of fine slopes. On the most western side of the Area you find the small italian restaurant with excellent typical italian food. Fine salats and excellent polenta belong to the surprises you would not expect here. Awful service, waited over 40 minutes before finally managed to get one of the lady's attention, one lady clearly didn't want to serve us but carried on serving people who arrived after us, the poor lady who did shouldn't have even been working she had a terrible cough and cold and was very unwell!
