Very few customers at 4.15 on a Saturday afternoon bu... read more Popped in here for a quick beer in the Mercat, Colon, Valencia. It's in the downstairs part of the Mercat. Very few customers at 4.15 on a Saturday afternoon but I was in no rush and sat at a table. Waitress came out after about 5 minutes and took my order of a beer, also took an order from a group of four at the table next to me. The group left after 10 minutes waiting. I waited out of curiosity and 20 minutes later was served a bottle of beer by the surly waitress. I wonder what the service would be like when busy! Wouldn't waste time here again, lots of more pleasant bars around.

We asked if t... read more We started with the left foot, as the waitress who attended us on the terrace told us nothing more to order the cocktails they were going to take. We asked if they didn't have alcohol and they told us no, that the only thing without alcohol they had was beer. Well, a misunderstanding. of the 4 cocktails ordered, we were only given 3. we were surprised by a few words of frustration that the waitress said when she saw that one of the tables next to her left because of the delay. I understand frustration, I've worked in hospitality myself, but we always have to try to do a good service. So, instead of the price that appeared in the letter, we were charged a different price because apparently it was not updated. as a general experience was not very good. the stars are for the blonde waitress who heard us when we asked for the claim sheet and invited us to the cocktail that forgot to pull out and that they prepared at the end. and apologized for the situation. That's appreciated.

When I went to the bar to complain, he told me, it was dark rum and Seven Up. Beside that I have never had a Mojito with Seven Up, I do not understand the dark colour. I left the glasses at the bar and said, that they are undrinkable and I will not pay for them. Do not go there, every other bar, we have been to, served niced and decent drinks.

Beer only available in bottles, mahou was €3 per bottle, so not extortionate for a bar. Also seemed to do cocktails. I would return
