It's a family-run Korean restaurant with excellent bulgogi, kimchi and sushi rolls. However, we found the prices to be high. I'm not sure if we would return, because it was a bit much to pay for a family of 5. I would perhaps return for a couples dinner, however, due to the quality of the food. View all feedback.

Tried this place three times. Very unimaginative all the way around. Food, service and settings mediocre at best. Never tried any sushi and the make it fresh.Korean food is my favourite Asian cuisine but I will not go back. Priced right for what you get.Sorry guys but you really need to try harder. Definately my favourite place in town to eat and go there often when able to. The food is great the portions are large and the staff is very friendly. I recommend adding creamcheese and deepfrying the rolls you choose if you feel like a creamy warm twist on sushi. Food flavour and quality is consistent. Im not one for tofu but the Agidashi Tofu is amazing. But im ending this review cuz i can go on and on so definately stop in.

We can often judge how good a Korean/Japanese restaurant is by their miso soup. Dduk Bae Ki House in Valemount is no exception and their miso soup is probably the best we have ever had. It was unequaled in the many Japanese restaurants we have eaten at in Toronto, Kamloops and Prince George. The tempura batter is also among the best we have eaten - very light and crispy.Great sauce with the unagi roll which we added cream cheese to!Looking forward to our next dinner or lunch there!

The kimchi was good, staff were friendly and polite, but food was just average, and a little pricey for this quality.

Tried the bibimbap, sushi, tempura. It was fantastic. Just a bit pricey. But worth it. Service was a bit slow.

I ordered take out and once I had already returned to my hotel I realized they forgot my sushi roll! Had to go back :( food was good though!
