May Palace - Vail
May Palace
Description
May Palace offers a mixed dining experience that appeals to different tastes and expectations. While some patrons found the food to be on the bland side and the service lacking warmth, others praised standout dishes like orange beef and Thai coconut curry for their freshness and flavor. Many guests appreciated the reasonable lunch specials for classic favorites such as Crab Rangoons and lo mein. Despite occasional inconsistencies in food quality and service, the restaurant is a popular choice for comforting Chinese cuisine, making it a reliable option for both casual dining and special occasions.

This restaurant is a wonderful spot to enjoy time with family and friends in West Vail. The owner, Rick Woo, truly excels at making every guest feel appreciated. The varied menu is definitely worth exploring, and it's no surprise that this place will remain a local favorite for years ahead. They also boast the best Happy Hour in Vail, featuring a friendly staff that is always eager to help. Thank you, Rick, and your incredible team, for your commitment to the local community over the years. Cheers!
I really wanted to like this place, but the price I paid for the most mediocre, mall quality food I received is insane. I appreciate this place for what it is, but I cannot defend it for how ridiculous the quality and price was. The food was leaking through the bag upon delivery, and the two entrees barely filled up half of the styrofoam takeout container. The food itself was edible at best, and a sad take on what I ordered. Please, do better.
Not good tonight. Curry sauce super watery with not much curry flavor. Garlic broccoli too spicy for me and I didn’t see a heat option. Just not as good as last year sorry
I absolutely love this restaurant! We've been coming here for years and have always been pleased with both our meals and the service. It's our go-to spot for Chinese food. The owners are incredibly accommodating and friendly.
Good food and service. We went there at 3:30 after a long hike. The lunch (11:30-4:00) menu has everything we wanted. We ordered Kong Pao Shrimp and Thai coconut curry with shrimp. I really like the Thai curry as it was creamy and healthy with a lot of veggies. Overall the ingredients are fresh and tasty.
