Wow! What an amazing dining experience. The location is fantastic, offering beautiful mountain views. The service was incredibly friendly, and the atmosphere is complemented by the warmth of the other diners nearby. The cocktail menu is fun; I tried a lavender cocktail that was delightful. As for the food, it was exceptional! The gazpacho was delicious, and I had a veal scallopini while my husband enjoyed the rigatoni with eggplant. We loved both dishes. If you're visiting Vail, you absolutely must have dinner here!

On our final night in Vail, La Nonna exceeded our expectations. My wife and I shared an appetizer, a pasta dish, and the veal scallopine, and each dish was outstanding. We started with the mussels, which were served in a light sauce that was perfect for dipping into their delicious bread. For our main course, we chose the seafood pasta with a light tomato sauce that wasn't overly tangy, and the seafood was delightful; the octopus was tender and not at all chewy. The veal scallopine was very good, though I was expecting a more traditional preparation—it was more akin to veal parmesan, so just be aware of that if you decide to order it. For dessert, we indulged in the pear tart, and I can honestly say we loved it! The portion sizes were perfect for sharing. Overall, we had a wonderful experience. The wait staff was knowledgeable, and the supporting staff took care of all the little details.

This a pasta place. Pasta dishes were better than other dishes ordered. But the pasta was outstanding

Our last night in Vail and La Nonna did not disappoint. My wife and I shared an appetizer, pasta dishes and veal. Every court was excellent. Appetizer was the shells. Sauce was light and perfect for diving her delicious bread. We had the seafood pasta with a light tomato sauce. Sauce was not tomato and seafood in the pasta was very nice. The octopus wasn't too chewing. The calf was very good. I expected a more traditional scallopin preparation. It was more like a calfsparmesan. So if you are inclined to order, make sure you get what you expect. After all, we had the pear cake for dessert. I can only say that we loved it! The portions were right for the split. We had a very nice time. Waiting the staff was well informed, and support staff took care of all the details.
