I tried the clearly labeled vegan bolognese and noticed they also offer the Impossible Burger (not Beyond). However, I was unsure if the bun was vegan. The food came out very quickly and the staff was friendly. As with many places in Vail, the food was decent but expensive. The kitchen closes at 10. Overall, I was grateful for the vegan options available. Original review updated on June 18, 2024.

The staff at this restaurant was extremely attentive from the moment we walked in. Our server, Nicole, was very kind and accommodating to our vegan dietary needs. We decided to share the lettuce wrap and vegan burger, with the lettuce wrap being filling enough for a full meal, although we wished the lettuce leaves were a bit larger, likely due to a supplier issue. The vegan burger came with a side of cucumber salad, which we added extra malt vinegar to for a nice twist. We did find a piece of chicken in the lettuce wrap, which we brought to our server's attention. We weren't looking for anything free, just wanted to make the kitchen aware. Without us asking, our server informed the manager, who promptly took care of that portion of the meal. Despite being in a resort community with young servers, they provided us with a great dining experience.

I really enjoy the lettuce wraps at this restaurant, they are gluten-free and vegan. Just a heads up, if you order the veggie burger, the bun is not vegan. The atmosphere has a sports bar vibe with great views. Update from previous review on June 11, 2022.

Garfinkle 's is an after-ski West Vail eating establishment with a mixed crowd eating and enjoying wine and mixed drinks. However, their 2 Vegan offerings demonstrate their lack of basic knowledge or commitment to the Plant- Based lifestyle. We tried the 2 Vegan offerings on the menu. Both utilized the common industrial meat substitute Impossible Meat. The Burger is basic; the Vegan Bolognese (Impossible Burger bits with pasta, tomatoes, basil, tomato sauce, and garlic) is flavorful. We feel that serious Plant Based foods incorporate a rainbow of colorful vegetables, legumes (beans, lentils, chickpeas), whole intact grains, nuts, and seeds. Garfinkel 's can do better.

Unbelievable level of disrespect towards patrons. These managers replies to these righteously so complaints in these reviews are downright disgusting. I posted some pictures here to display how theyve treated their other customers. I have never in my life felt so disrespected by an establishment so much as to make sure to place a review on every platform denouncing the behavior of the owners and managers of this establishment. It seems very clear that they pay for 5 star reviews or there is some mechanism behind this bc it is just a farce. Thought there had not been such influx in reviews for them at the time, immediately after my one star review came flooding in 5 star reviews! Out of no where. The way they manage business this is just not possible and likely falsified. Original review: Unbelievable The worst vibes possible. The people were not kind. The Hostess up front was very rude to us on the way in and when my friend needed to go to the bathroom. Upholding health regulation is one thing, treating your patrons like s is another. They killed our good spirits on a beautiful day. Made me feel robbed. We sat down and immediately felt the dark vibes from the staff. Once one of our guests told us she was barked at by the hostess we immediately left. We checked other reviews of the place to see if this was a common occurrence and apparently it is. I recommend anyone hungry and happy to go elsewhere. This place doesn't want business apparently. I also hear the food is dirty and expensive.
