Was Milo Hang at Flame a mag?
This was likely the best meal I've had in years. Javier was exceptional with the pacing of the courses and his engaging conversation at the table. The food exceeded all my expectations, and I truly have no complaints. The staff was incredibly attentive and considerate, to the extent that we felt as if we were the only guests in the restaurant. I'm not a huge fan of the Four Seasons restaurant in Denver, but this one... View all feedback.
What Korey Pagac dislikes about Flame:
Good restaurant nicely appointed with a decent selection of various cuts. We started off at some virgin ginger drinks and they quite honestly were not the best. However the Australian lamb chops and 8 ounce fillets were not as tender and juicy, but were reasonable OK. We also ordered a side of lobster mac cheese, brussels sprouts, mashed potatoes, salad and of course the only good item was the chocolate soufflé. View all feedback.

Came to this hotel on a work retreat with a large group. Received overpriced mediocre food through in room dining and food poisoning within 2 days of staying here. Do not recommend at all. In room dining was a disappointment. Pizza looked and tasted as if it were frozen, salmon was severely underwhelming, pasta was bland and crunchy, the burger tasted like freezer burn. The bill did not at all reflect the quality of the food. The salmon was laughable. $45 but looked and tasted more like $15. There was a burnt lemon served with it, and then the piece of unseasoned, chewy salmon. That 's it, no sides. Pizza crust was clearly pre-made and probably frozen. Margherita pizza was a joke. The morning of March 14, I went downstairs to order two green juices (one for me and my colleague and lattes for the team. Within 2 hours of my green juice, I began to feel nauseous. One smell of food and I was puking (as well as .. on and off for 3-4 hours. The same colleague that ordered the green juice came quickly after. This was the only thing we had put in our bodies, since it was morning. Not sure if the fruits/veggies were bad or they weren 't rinsed well, but we for sure got food poisoning from these drinks. No other food was had this morning. I called the hotel (we 're guests here and no solutions were offered, no apologies, no compping. I got one call from security asking for more information to investigate Useless and disappointing.
This was our first visit to Vail and our first dinner in Flame. Not much for vegetarian options, so our server (which was amazing btw) checked with the cook and told me that he covered me. I was so impressed! He totally covered me! And my husband enjoyed his steak lol The dessert proposal, although from our server....sticky toffee pudding ... was by far the best! The best part... the cook came out and greeted us and we could give him our great thanks! Not many steak houses are suitable for vegetarians, so thank you for our dinner experience the best experience in Vail. And to round it off, we celebrated our anniversary, which made this something special. Breakfast was also a hit, not even we had a bad experience. Our server Nick was also amazing. The waffles but... amazing!
This is my favorite restaurant in Vail. The steak is really good, but the sides and wedge salad are the best in Vail! We also enjoy the personal waiting staff. It's always a family lover. I highly recommend it!
Everything was great but we have dined twice and they seem to have staffing issues like everywhere right now. Not a huge deal, but given the price you are paying you should be aware that its a thing. The staff who were there were friendly and probably exhausted because they must be really short of people. But, the food is good and we don't mean to quibble...but the bill tho!!! So you want fully staff people so waits are better, not as much time between courses, water is filled, drinks can be re-ordered etc.
Some standout dishes but nothing extraordinary. Not worth the money considering other options in the area. Not up to the normal Four Seasons standards.

On a positive note, the ambiance was lovely. It leans more towards the upscale side, yet guests ranged from dressed-up to casual. The overall atmosphere felt warm and homey, with a ranch-like vibe. As for the food: - **Salmon (2/5)**: I prefer my food hot or at least warm, but my salmon was more on the cold side. The temperature was unappetizing, although I did enjoy the perfectly crispy skin. - **Bison Bone-in Ribeye (5/5)**: We ordered our steak medium-well, and it was cooked to perfection. It was well-seasoned, and I truly savored every bite. - **Whipped Yukon Potatoes (3/5)**: The texture was spot on—thick and creamy—but the flavor definitely left something to be desired. They could use a lot more seasoning. - **Brussels Sprouts (3/5)**: They were a bit charred, and instead of being crispy, they ended up more chewy. I wish they had a better crunch. - **Carrot Cake (2/5)**: There was nothing special about it. The white chocolate coating had a nice texture, but the cake itself lacked flavor. Overall, I don’t think I would return to this restaurant.
We visited for a date night and had a fantastic experience. The service was outstanding, and our food was of high quality and expertly prepared. The wine list was extensive, and the servers were very knowledgeable. The atmosphere was warm, inviting, and romantic. Overall, we had a wonderful time.
The table-side Caesar salad was excellent! The filet mignon was the best we've ever had. The dining area was beautiful.
Raoul, Emir, and company welcomed us into their family with a sea of accoutrement to complement another memorable dinner in beautiful Vail, CO. We visit every year, and we always walk away with such a wonderful memory of laughs and flavors! Thank you all! -David Kanefsky Insurance Agency 720-625-0221
Incredible service by our waitress Shantel and Salome. Super friendly staff. The food was incredible. The bread and the different butters was incredible. You have to get the steak tartare, by far the best I've ever had and they make it table service. The elk is delicious!

Possibly the best meal I've ever eaten. The chef came out and visited near the end of our meal and talked about his creations. The miso mushrooms and the cauliflower steak were delicious and my husband had the wagyu beef burger. Our only regret was not being able to finish it all! Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner
Had I brought an ice pack to soothe my jaw from all the chewing I had to do this place would have been much better. I’m fortunate to have the opportunity to dine at high end steakhouses somewhat regularly and flame missed the mark by a long shot. The 95 dollar ribeye was hands down the absolute worst ribeye I have ever had. I literally had to hold it down while stabbing my knife into it to try and carve off a piece of completely raw (they never even asked how I’d like my steak prepared to which I would have said medium rare) and completely unseasoned beef. You can find a more tender piece of beef at Applebees or on clearance at Walmart. And to charge 95 dollars? Despite the price I don’t think I’ve ever had a more disappointing steak in my life. It certainly wasn’t dry aged. It definitely wasn’t prime. And whatever “Colorado” cow it came from was fed a diet of sticks and rocks. The others in my party who ordered a steak all had similar feelings. Worst steak ever. On a bright mode the sides were excellent. Mashed potatoes were divine. But the sides could be made out of Mana from heaven and that still wouldn’t bump it up to two stars.
