I visited this restaurant in the summer a few years ago, just a short hike from the main lift. The views from the summit were absolutely breathtaking. I had a roasted lamb sandwich with mozzarella, au jus dip, and fries for lunch, paired with a Coors Light. What Nate S doesn't like about Eagles Nest:
Can't believe this is the food they would serve people. Everything is out and the place looks like a college frat house. I'd rather eat there honestly. Over priced is a gross understatement. Especially when the portions are not measured and you can see a wide difference in amount given. We live in 2022. People don't want grease, cheap, over processed food. Absolutely the worst selection for a high scale Vail resort up the mountain with inflated prices. Seriously bring your own PBJ sandwich.This is after a charge of $50 person for gondola. I know it’s COVID 19 times but this is below expectation

I've been skiing in Vail for awhile. If you don't ski, take the Gondola up and have a meal here. The views are amazing. While I understand everything is more expensive due to the logistics of getting it up the mountain, the prices here are even high for the mountain. That aside, great service and very good food plus the views make it a must visit.
Beautiful enough vibe with magnificent view and good selection of food (pizza supp,e, burger, salat.) note that they can get the same food in each of the restaurants on the pists, so it is all about the selection of the place they like to sit in most! make them a reservation before the time they do not allow them without one.
