The place did not seem like it was very clean either and with the whole covid thing, I thought it would be more clean. We may try again but not for a few more months.

We g... read more The partner-in-dine and I are so happy that we have Bowld nearby. Most of the dining options in our corner of Tucson consist of fastfood and more fastfood. We go to Bowld about twice a month. Everything that we 've had there has been consistently excellent and delicious. The food is made fresh in their open kitchen. Servings are generous and the quality is topnotch. Aside from their regular menu of rowls, bowls, burgers and salads, they also offer a bowl of the week and a burger of the week . Our favorite bowl is the Green Chile Enchilada Bowl. We 've tried a few other bowls and they 're all pretty good. But the Green Chile Enchilada Bowl is the créme de la créme of bowls. We also recommend trying the rowls. The Cubano and Diablo rowls are delicious. The partner-in-dine had the double burger (which came with a mountain of French fries) the last time we were there and he gave it his burp of approval. The owner who is also the main cook is always nice and cordial. We can actually see the dedication, hard work and sincerity he pours into his business. We try to support local businesses whenever we can, and Bowld is one of those that truly deserves recognition and praise.

The staff was super friendly and worked with me to make sure my meal was totally vegan. The cashier approached me on three different occasions to ask follow up questions like asking if the rice made with chicken stock was okay with me. I appreciated her level of helpfulness and candor. I enjoy supporting indie restaurants and this was just a reminder at how great they can be. The menu is creative. I got the 520 Bowl with several modifications and I have no complaints!!
