The food is good, I love a good breakie wrap and they're good.

After p... read more We stopped into Beat Bean for a late morning coffee and a bite to eat for lunch, the cafe is located on the Esplanade at Scarness with views of the sea. After placing our order at the counter we took a seat out the front of the cafe in the gorgeous winter sun. The cafe is nicely decorated with a modern theme, plenty of inside seating, as well as several tables outside with umbrellas.Our coffees were promptly served and enjoyed with a mini biscuit on the side before our large bowls of soup arrived; creamy cauliflower, jerusalem artichoke and bacon with toasted turkish bread. We very much enjoyed the soup, tasty, although it was more like a very thick porridge. Free street parking is available. I would not hesitate to return to try something else on the menu.
