It was an excellent evening. The staff and food were fantastic.
We arrived 5 minutes before our booking, the table was not set and the dining room looked cluttered. We had to wait at the bar while the staff set the table and were not offered a drink. We asked for coffee instead of tea and were charged an extra $7 per cup on top of the cost of the high tea. We were then told there was no milk and they would need to go and get some!!! There was no music on and the whole atmosphere was really disappointing considering I had informed them it was an 80th birthday celebration.
