The Oyster Palace - Upper Hutt

We had our food crumbed not battered and it was **** amazing The staff were really nice Oyster palace well I see why they called it that beautifully cooked and crumbed So were the scallops and mussels Chips were cooked perfect Would definitely come back

Best fish in Upper Hutt and nice chips too. They are pretty quick with the orders and in my experience phone ordering works well. The people who run it are polite and professional. The waiting area is average for a local takeaway but you 'll be greated by a waving cat who calls out to all Hello and welcome! If your friends recognise the phrqse you 'll be bound to share the same fish 'n ' chip place.

Maybe I got them on a bad day- s&s pork was dry and tough with no discernible flavour, could not finish it and sadly could not even tell it was pork. Likewise my wife’s s&s fish on rice was only slightly better. At over $30 this was not a good experience. Staff were pleasant and accomodating however, which is why two stars.

Good price but the chips werent good at all and the potato fritters and pine rings werent good neither tasted like the oil was old and hadn't been changed at all the potato fritters tasted burnt not a good experiences at all, won't going. Back their.

The best little takeaway! fish n chips, Chinese dishes always delicious. And the BEST fried chicken nibbles!
