Bonsai is a neighborhood gem serving authentic Japanese and Korean fare — standout katsu/katsudon, bento boxes, sushi rolls and hearty soups — in a clean, quietly decorated strip-mall dining room. The menu is large and often excellent, but inconsistent execution and service mar the experience: slow or missing orders, unanswered phones, oversweet seasoning and occasional missing ingredients or chopsticks. Great dishes make it worth trying, but prepare for variability.
Yummy, good quality sushi (and other dishes) and great prices! An almost weekly date night for my boyfriend and I!
Ms. Kim is a legend with Sushi in Columbus. Definitely worth checking out if you want real Oriental food.

I have eaten at many Korean restaurants and Bonsai is the best I've ever had in Ohio. Great food, good service, charming restaurant.
Service could have been a bit more prompt especially with the bill, but staff was friendly to children and the food was excellent. The Seaweed salad and tofu Jim were quite good. We also had the tempura veggies which were good, but when isn?t friedstuff tasty? We had a couple vegetarian sushi rolls which were great as well.
