Reviews praise Roots for great food, coffee and friendly staff; noted for limited fully vegan options, occasional slow service and tight parking on busy days.
I recently made a quick stop at Healthy Roots and enjoyed some delicious freshly made juices. I was not disappointed! The menu offered several tasty, healthy vegan breakfast and lunch options. The outdoor seating area was also a nice touch.
I visited this restaurant last week for a vegan snack in the morning. While it wasn't exactly cheap, it wasn't overly expensive either, costing about 7 pounds for a vegan breakfast. The portion size was just right - not too small to leave me hungry, but also not too large to make me overly full. I left feeling happy and satisfied. The sweet potato hash was particularly delicious, with just the right amount of spice.
Always busy on Sundays but Worth the wait. Parking: Difficult to find parking as roots is on a main road but is available if you look. Kid-friendliness: A nice menu for children and a nice atmosphere Service: Dine in Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: £60–70
This restaurant is a fantastic spot for a vegan breakfast! The acai smoothie bowl and vegan fry up were both delicious. I also enjoyed a tasty oat matcha latte. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was lovely. Overall, I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere all as a 5 out of 5. The price per person ranges from £10 to £20.

Roots' pastry counter occasionally showcases lesser-known treats reflected in its tags — think Portuguese queijada-style sweets and licuado-inspired drinks — so ask the staff about the day's special pastry or an off-menu juice blend when you visit.
