Food we o... read more Have been coming here for years, but recent visit was our last time. Place was empty for lunch but service still took 30 mins. Waitress was miserable. Food we ordered wasn’t available so had to select something else bland and overpriced. Wasn’t disappointed……only thing blander than the food was the service. Then add insult to injury, hubby had upset stomach from the food. Utter disgrace.

During my visit, my phone accident... read more I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience at this restaurant was so disappointing that I feel compelled to share it. During my visit, my phone accidentally fell into the fixed bench seating. When I asked staff for assistance, I was repeatedly told, they would get it in 10 minutes. I understood the bar was busy so i informed them I would be back in a few hours after they had time to retrieve it. They agreed to this and said they would get it for me. What was most upsetting was the way I felt I was treated during the incident. Rather than feeling supported while trying to recover a valuable personal item, I felt dismissed and spoken to in an aggressive, intimidating manner. The situation became unnecessarily confrontational by a waitress and left me feeling distressed and uncomfortable. The owner was present and found it acceptable for his staff to be swearing at me. Following the incident, I raised a formal complaint with the business. Unfortunately, the response I received rejected my account entirely and instead sought to portray me as the problem. This was particularly concerning given that the owner was personally present during the incident and witnessed the interactions that took place I appreciate that mistakes can happen in any business. What matters is how those mistakes are handled. Had my concerns been acknowledged and addressed professionally, I would likely have moved on and wanted to revisit. Instead, I have been left feeling disappointed by both the handling of the incident itself and the response that followed. Based on my experience, this is not a trustworthy business and I would not return.

I paid £10 for a glass of Pinot Grigio Blush and £15 for a Margherita Pizza that clearly came from a cheap frozen package. I felt like I had been ripped off. Stay away from this place, there are definitely better restaurants in the area.
