What Jonny Tewelde doesn't like about Hong Kong Restaurant.:
Used to eat here regularly with family going back over 20 years. Food is cooked in gross oil. Often tastes like even fried in fish oil possibly, even when it is pork or chicken. Prices have skyrocketed and portions, value, flavor have all gone down. Itwas borderline gross the last two times I ate there. View all feedback. What Clay Buckridge likes about Hong Kong Restaurant.:
Been going here off and on for the last 8 years. This is where I went on the first date with the woman that would become my wife a few wonderful years later. This place will always hold a special place in my heart. Great food, great staff, great memories. View all feedback.

read moreHong Kong restaurant in Nampa has been a staple for many families for years, with some loyal patrons dating back over two decades. However, recent reviews indicate a decline in quality, portion sizes, and overall value for the price. Some diners mentioned that the food tasted like it was cooked in fish oil, with generic sauces and frozen meats. Despite the sentimental value the restaurant holds for some, others find it hard to justify the high prices for subpar food and slow service. On the other hand, there are still positive reviews from customers who have enjoyed their meals and appreciated the friendly staff. While the restaurant may not be consistent across the board, it seems to evoke a mix of nostalgia and disappointment among patrons, making it a place with both loyal fans and critical detractors.
