What Jonny Tewelde doesn't like about Hong Kong Restaurant.:
Used to eat here regularly with family going back over 20 years. Food is cooked in gross oil. Often tastes like even fried in fish oil possibly, even when it is pork or chicken. Prices have skyrocketed and portions, value, flavor have all gone down. Itwas borderline gross the last two times I ate there. View all feedback.
The food was wonderful, the atmosphere wasn't too heavy. We ordered the rickshaw 3 set off the menu, this set feeds three people with room for leftovers(which is what we were going for), the price can be a bit steep if you're on a budget, but the have lots of smaller lunch and dinner sets that, from what I could tell, were pretty cheap. Lovely servers and wonderful food!
Great food and service as always. Open for sit down service very covid safe and clean.
It’s a good place to go have lunch. I like the sweet and sour chicken with fried rice. The staff is really nice and do service you quickly. The over all quality isn’t a 5-star but it is good (makes me keep going back). I would recommend going here if you want to try something new.

At a time the hong kong restaurant was the best Chinese food in nampa, but unfortunately this was a long time ago. I haven't been a fan for 4 or 5 years after a incident where I had to wait 2 hours for my family food that should be delivered and not. it was not my choice tonight, but an older family member whose birthday was asked. I should have known when I went to pick up the order and the take-out menu has a handwritten message saying that the prices have changed. Yes, they have a lot! but what has not changed is the painfully slow service. I can feel when they were busy, but do not say 20 minutes if they really mean an hour and twenty minutes.
