What chicagokraut doesn't like about Pumpernickel Inn:
I live in Union Pier and have been to Izzy's on several occasions, but I will not support this business moving forward. The male server, not sure if he's the owner but I suspect he is, has been so rude on numerous occasions I can't in good conscience go back. The Gelato is a 3.5. Most flavors are okay but not as intense as Gelato overseas, with the exception of the pistachio which is phenomenal. There is also a creme... View all feedback. Stayed here for two nights and had a great stay. Atmosphere is straight out of something from the mid 90s with the decorative guitar decor. Breakfast was great and reasonably priced. Great spot for a weekend getaway. View all feedback.

Delicious gelato, very fresh, great variety of flavors. Cute outdoor seating area added this summer. Highly recommend

Weekends are reliable, Thurs -Sunday. Not always open. Closed month of February Call for Inn Cafe availability.

The Gelato is amazing. We stop here anytime we drive through the area. We will even make some diversions to make the stop.
