Dipped into the madness that is 'Chickpea ' and emerged baptized in culinary brilliance. There is something unspeakably wild and unchained about the food, an unhinged culinary fever dream that seduces your senses and leaves your palate in a state of ecstatic surrender. The service? The staff doesn 't just serve food, they deliver an unspoken promise of adventure on silver platters.Strap yourself in, for this is not ju... View all feedback.
**Meal Type:** Dinner **Price Per Person:** $10–20 **Food Rating:** 5/5 **Service Rating:** 5/5 **Atmosphere Rating:** 5/5 I highly recommend the Chicken Shawarma Salad Plate, which was absolutely delicious. The restaurant features a wide variety of vegetarian options, making it a perfect spot for plant-based diners. There’s plenty of parking available, with convenient free street parking. Overall, a fantastic dining experience!
However, the food was definitely a highlight of the meal. Although the menu was somewhat limited and a few items were unavailable, there were still some tasty choices. I ordered the chicken shawarma and was pleasantly surprised by both the generous portion and the delicious flavors. My friend's salad looked fresh and appetizing, and we also tried the baba ghanoush, which I had never tasted before. It was quite good and quickly became a new favorite for me, although they could do a better job of balancing the amount of pita provided for dipping. So, what's the verdict? Chickpea is a quaint little lunch spot with potential for improvement. Despite some service issues and a few menu limitations, the food is good enough to make me want to return. This was my second visit, and I'm still eager to come back for a third. Supporting local businesses is important, and with a few adjustments, Chickpea has the potential to become a standout restaurant.
The best Mediterranean restaurant in the area! The ingredients are incredibly fresh, and you can tell that each dish is prepared with care. We make it a point to visit whenever we're nearby. The orange blossom lemonade is absolutely fantastic. As for parking, it's conveniently located right out front. We dined in for dinner, and the price per person ranged from $10 to $20.
Dine-in Experience Meal Type: Lunch Price Range: $10–20 Rating: Food: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Atmosphere: 5/5 Recommended Dish: Gyro Bowl I had an excellent lunch experience at this restaurant. The food was outstanding—the Gyro Bowl was particularly delicious and a must-try. The service was impeccable, with attentive staff ensuring a pleasant dining experience. The atmosphere was inviting and comfortable, making it the perfect spot for a relaxing meal. Highly recommended!
A friend introduced me to shawarma, something I had never tried before. Intrigued, I did a quick Google search and found this restaurant. I decided to check it out and ordered both a gyro and a shawarma. I loved every bite! The sauce they make is amazing. I got the gyro as a backup, just in case the shawarma wasn’t to my taste, but I ended up taking the gyro home with me. I did sample it, and it was really delicious too. When I go back, I will definitely be ordering another shawarma!
