They don’t know this but they’re our saviours! In Oct 22 we had a very wet camping trip to Grizedale full of rain drama and breakdowns, waiting for the AA we descended on them.. kids dogs and all and they fed us Sunday dinner. Tonight April 24 we descended on them again 21 of us and they are so lovely and patient and the food was gorgeous. We’ll tell anyone who’ll listen .. gorgeous Counrty pub with superstars working there .. thank you x

We ate here today (2 adults and 2 kids aged 8 11) after doing the high ropes at Go Ape. The food was absolutely delicious. The service was fab. Overall, we cannot fault our experience at the Eagles Head and we would definitely recommend it.

We stopped over at this pub after a long walk, and it was a treat. The pub has a very homely atmosphere, nice people around, and the food (I was sceptical at first) was very nice indeed. Had a curry over there with couple of beers and I couldn't be happier. The beer selection is also good if you are in the area, drop by.

I came here after a long walk wanting to eat and drink something. I waited for a while but they did not want to serve me. Staff walked past me several times and I tried to order something but they just walked past me. Found this very rude and made me feel very uncomfortable. Would not recommend Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
