Wondered the streets around Broadway tonight with my son and saw this Taiwanese eatery. My son immediately wanted to go as he saw crepes and strawberry on the window displays. We ordered pan fried dumplings, beef noodles and a pork chop rice. All very standard, and to my expectations they were all quite nice and my 2yo son who can be fussy had them all and liked them.
Good for a quick lunch - the crispy chicken salad is my favorite with the spicy garlic sauce
This cafe is right next to my uni and I've really grown to love it. My favourite food options would be the spinach and tomato quiche and the toasted cheese and tomato croissant (with basil . The food is fresh and reliable, and if you get in early they have a lot of options. They also sell chocolate bars, chips and red frogs (uni student fuel! and they will serve you very quickly. They also have a good selection of juices and other drinks on the menu. I wouldn't rate the coffee too highly, but there's lots of other places to get coffee in the area anyway. The hot chocolates and chai lattes are pretty nice.
This café is one of the many that I pass on my way from Central to Ultimo. The staff is friendly and the service is fast, but the standout feature is their use of Campos Coffee. I have never been disappointed with their coffee. At $4 for a large latte, it is reasonably priced and superior to many other more expensive options nearby. I highly recommend stopping by and grabbing a cup next time you are in the area.
