A convenient and affordable place opposite Powerhouse Museum and just off the end of The Goods Line. The original beef pie is very peppery, and the steak and mushroom pie is slightly less peppery but both are very similar. You can't really taste the mushrooms but they've got a slimy texture ... It's always busy when I walk by, which must be a good sign!!

Hannah's was Harry's pie supplier and the building still says Hannah's but the shop underneath is just branded as a Harry's outlet, so it's the same as any other Harry's, with good beef chunks in the pie and lots of toppings at a reasonable price, although maybe should be less than the waterside original.

Sadly was in a rush and just opted for cookies that were visible to pedestrians passing by but omg. What a decision I made that I will not regret. The cookie was bigger than usual, flatter though wider! Generous buts of choc chip and the texture was perfect with a bit of strength and softness (no chewiness!!). Flavour was a bit too sweet after eating two but not as sweet as subway cookies. Not bad. Will definitely return for more!

A visit to the Powerhouse Museum isn't complete without a pie from Hannah's. My favourite is the chicken pie; chunky, tender pieces of chicken with mushrooms in a creamy sauce encased in a golden, flaky pastry. But alas, they were sold out of the chicken pies so I ventured into curry chicken pie territory. Whilst it was nice, I'll stick to my regular order next time.
