We traveled along the Scotland Route 66 and stumbled upon this fantastic place. The service and hospitality were exceptional—truly top-notch. The food was excellent, surpassing that of many other restaurants. When you visit, make sure to try their beer and a bite; you won’t be disappointed. Local sausage and broth rolls, beautifully cooked by a beautiful dame and a crisp cup tee exactly what was needed after a long walk
We had fantastic hot food this morning that really energized us for the day ahead.
Wow! Only a 10-15 min walk to the suspension bridge itself. This initial part you can get away with using a wheelchair/pushchair but beyond that it's not accessible with wheels. There is also a slightly terrifying viewing platform further along following on from the suspension bridge. If you are scared of heights this is NOT for you! Absolutely stunning views!! Good footwear recommended as it can be steep/slippery in places. Definitley worth a visit!
Although rated easy, as nearly 80, we did struggle a bit. However, we got to the viewpoint and it wad spectacular. Will be great once the new Visitor Centre and cafe are completed
Easy parking by the road. Nice short walk along gravel paths to the suspension bridge and viewpoint. The gorge and the waterfall below are breathtaking, don't look down if you're scared of heights!
