Saariston Puoti - Uimaharju

Truly high-quality Neapolitan pizza in the middle of nowhere in North Karelia. Definitely worth a visit.

After much deliberation, we couldn't bring ourselves to give this place two stars. We drove all the way from the outskirts of Joensuu to try their highly recommended pizza (it's worth noting we came specifically for this reason). Upon arrival, we were asked if we had made a table reservation, meaning we couldn't get pizza without doing so. Disappointed, I ended up ordering a kebab dish with fries, and even had to confirm if this was the last one available, but apparently there was still one left...

Great pizzas and lovely staff!
