Glue free items on the menu marked. I had gluten-free pizza, nachos and Greek salad all without problems. The staff was informed about gluten contamination and wiped all surfaces, changed gloves, etc. before making pizza. View all feedback.
What raybarks doesn't like about Shipwreck Pizza:
This restaurant may be good for people who don’t have celiac disease, but they made it very clear to me it isn’t safe. They don’t have any procedures for prepping pizzas away from wheat flour, and the fryer is a shared frier for their fries and chicken wings. Gluten free pizzas are prepped on same surfaces as gluten pizzas, allergy or not. Definitely avoid if you’re a celiac! View all feedback.
The menu clearly marked gluten-free items. I enjoyed a gluten-free pizza, nachos, and Greek salad, all without any issues. The staff was well-informed about gluten contamination and took the necessary precautions by cleaning all surfaces and changing gloves before preparing my pizza.
The menu clearly indicates gluten-free options. I ordered the gluten-free pizza, nachos, and Greek salad, and everything was perfect. The staff were well-informed about gluten contamination and took the necessary precautions, such as wiping down all surfaces and changing gloves, before preparing my pizza.
This restaurant might be suitable for individuals without celiac disease, but they made it clear to me that it isn't a safe option for those who are. They lack procedures for preparing pizzas separately from wheat flour, and they use a shared fryer for both their fries and chicken wings. Gluten-free pizzas are prepared on the same surfaces as gluten-containing pizzas, regardless of allergies. I would definitely advise celiac patients to steer clear of this place!
