Only thing tha... read more Great little inn , staff very friendly and helpful which was appreciated as we ran late they let us get a takeaway and eat it in their premises . Only thing that I wasn't happy with was the bed it's needs a new mattress I got no sleep and as a result was very tired for my daughter's wedding the next day . If the bed had been comfortable I'd be back . Food drinks: Food could be served a bit later even a few bar snacks would be good for late arrivals . The hotel is luxurious and welcoming, situated in 312 acres of beautiful grounds in Ashdown Forest. The food served at both the wedding reception and breakfast was excellent. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a luxurious romantic escape or for those who enjoy picnicking and exploring the grounds to unwind from the daily hustle and bustle. For brides-to-be searching for the perfect venue to impress their guests, this is definitely the place to choose. Everything about this hotel would make your special day absolutely perfect.
