My son loved his first ice cream fl... read more I absolutely adore Maximum Diner for their toffee daim sundaes, which are consistently delicious and always my first choice. My son loved his first ice cream float, and the other desserts we tried were all fantastic. The service was excellent, and my kids were even given a lollipop each as we left, which was a very nice touch.

Huge menu choice and all seems to be cooked fresh to order. Very good value and friendly people.

It's pretty rough round the edges and doesn't seem much different to how it was 20 odd years ago still the odd American flag around and booth seating. Staff are friendly enough. Large variety of food, as you'd expect in this type of place. Generous portions, the food isn't going to win any awards but was acceptable, perhaps a little expensive as some of the ingredients used are towards the lower end of the scale.
