The staff were fantastic too; they welcomed my fellow cyclists and me with good spirits, humor, and attentive service. It certainly deserves a five-star rating, but since I usually give out five stars, I’ll be a bit more critical this time. The decor feels a bit outdated, and the restrooms are quite small. While the location is excellent, the building itself could use a more inspiring replacement.

I completely forgot to take a picture of the amazing selection of sandwiches... read more We had a lovely afternoon tea to celebrate my friend's birthday at Barnsgate today. I completely forgot to take a picture of the amazing selection of sandwiches, petite cakes, and scones arranged on a three-tier cake stand. The service was exceptional—staff members were attentive and cheerful. It truly offers great value for money. We've already booked another afternoon tea in a few weeks for a family birthday. Barnsgate is definitely a place to visit if you're looking for something special, all while enjoying excellent service in a relaxed atmosphere with stunning views of the South Downs.

We are incredibly grateful to Gary and the entire staff for their outstanding service. The food and drinks were exceptional, and many of our guests echoed this sentiment. Everything was handled professionally, which gave us peace of mind throughout the entire experience. We highly recommend choosing this venue for your wedding. We’re sure you won’t be disappointed!

All the staff were so welcoming and helpful throughout the entire evening. The set up and decorations were beautifully done and all of the food was fantastic. Everyone had the most wonderful evening and we would love to return in the future.
