We thoroughly enjoyed the food. Everything was very delicious. The blueberry bread pudding is AMAZING, very flavorful!
My first visit to Jobos — Downtown Tupelo was with my sister. We sat on the patio and shared an appetizer — sofrito salsa benton's bacon guac. I could have eaten just that and been fine. We ordered the grilled chicken sandwich and a burger to share with parm fries for a side (not to forget the quick pickles). My next visit was with my family and we dined inside. The charm of the place is impeccable. We enjoyed Sunday Bruch that featured items such as French toast, bacon, aji potatoes. The aji was a delicious green sauce. The short rib hamburger steak stack was a hit, too.
Food was amazing. The menu is unique and so delicious. Our waitress was training another employee. The girl training was very sweet and the one doing the training didn't seem to enjoy her job.
Great clean bar and drinks ? strong as an ox ? they don't water down drinks at all a very nice bar tender! Very nice atmosphere with security on premises feel very relaxing and energetic!
Set in the sparkling new Hotel Tupelo, this restaurant is fun and upbeat with a really good food sense. For those of us who visit Tupelo regularly, it is a welcome addition and long past overdue. Excellent charcuterie board, featuring Benton's and regional cheeses. Strong cocktail (and mocktail) program...love an Amaro-focused cocktail. I had a great version of New Orleans-style BBQ shrimp and my dining companion did the simple fish which had a lot of great flavors at work. We are well past the lemon-pepper tyranny of Tupelo dining of yesteryear. Also, I really want to try the Hotel Tupelo now.
