The fish here was UNREAL! SO damn good. Some of the best I've had...however the cost associated was outrageous. More expensive than a restaurant in LA where I live!

Pretty disappointing experience. I asked for the omakase they said it is $130 which is fine, I was figuring w tip it would be no more 170, I was correct as when I convert the pesos of my total meal, water, cocacola and 15% tip it was 3461 so that is about $170 yet on the bill (bill attached) they have a bs conversion fee and said it was over $200, so I had to pay a 40% tip for the worst service I ever received. I was the only person in the restaurant so that’s the first clue this isn’t a great place. 6 courses (I would say more like 4 and they asked if I really wanted omakase it’s a lot of food lol-the gyozas were awful and shouldn’t count, and another course had 2 pieces of sushi), no dessert. the gyozas were these cheap gyozas they have frozen in their freezer and fry up in front of me. I was appalled that would be on a menu like this lol The sushi was good but much better omakase menus in NY etc that treat you great. After I ate they were all staring at me to leave. It was a very bizarre experience. Oh ya and then demanding the $200 when it was really 170. I do not think a 40% tip was warranted at all. I know in Tulum they rip you off but my god the service was horrible. Would never return.

I was horrified that on a menu like this Lol The Sushi was good, but much better Grandmakase menus in NY etc. that you treat great. After I ate, they all stared at me to go. It was a very bizarre experience. Oh, and then ask for the $200 when it was really 170. I don't think a 40% tip was justified at all. I know they're tearing you off in Tulum, but my God's service was terrible. Would never return.

The food was fantastic, however the service was terrible. Had to stand up many times to find a waiter and to place an order. No recommendations from the waiter and not very friendly. Such a shame as the food was amazing.
