Ever since arriving in Tulum, we were needing a good sushi restaurant and we found just a place! Plus the service was outstanding, we felt so welcomed and...at home. I would definitely recommend this place and it’s awesome staff!

First the actual restaurant 's decor is sombre.which helps to disguise the poor hygiene but not quite, as the table was dirty and the tray for the soya sauce arrived with...bits of food stuck to the bottom. The food was just ok, because of the hygiene issue I was actually scared to order any sashimi or even sushi. The giozhas were good but the tempura batter wasn 't, it was actually not a tempura batter . With the heat we had looked forward to a cool beer There was only one can of japanese beer left in the restaurant. The staff wasn 't particularly friendly but the worst was when it came to pay, they produce a strange credit card machine attached to a phone... never ever seen the likes and it didn 't work anyway I really was worried about typing my pin in it) I asked to pay with a traditional machine only to be told it didn 't work . My husband had to go to an ATM by the bus station , it was quite dark and a bit worrying in view of the increasing amount of crime sin Tulum! Lastly I had picked this restaurant for it 's quite ambiance so we could talk but again it failed by blasting very loud techno.
