Staff knows what vegan means and even shared the specific vegan options available, a couple of which weren 't on the chalkboard menu. My favorite was the green salad. The sambucas (i.e., crispy vegan tacos) were pretty good, but the whole roasted eggplant with mole tasted a little bland. Didn 't have wifi, which seems strange on Tulum Beach.

We t... read more This is the best restaurant we tried in Tulum. The gamba maya was probably the best prawn dish we have ever tasted. The snapper and octopus were delicious. We thought the honey cake was outclassed by the other dishes and was ok.

We loved ordering off... read more We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Hartwood amazing food, great energy from the staff and crowd, and a casual yet refined atmosphere. We loved ordering off the daily menu, with fantastic recommendations from our server. Every single employee was working hard to make sure everyone was having a fantastic time. We had the best meal of our week long stay in Tulum here. Highly recommend!!
