We are traveling to celebrate a birthday and tonight is that night, which was very sad to walk up to their doors to find out that they aren’t open for our special day. We, of course, hope everything is alright with the business and hope the best for them, but this was a really terrible way to spend a birthday.

Food itself is beautifully presente... read more The decoration of the space is outstanding, and service is very friendly and attentive (though there is a catch, see below). Food itself is beautifully presented although its taste/quality is a step below the looks. Not bad, above average, but perhaps they should reduce the length of the menu and focus more on taste and quality. Music was fantastic. We had an unpleasant surprise when the bill arrived. They automatically charged a 20% tip for the kitchen staff, and then a compounded 15-20% on top of that which we got to choose, for the server. All-in-all, you can easily end up paying 40% in tips. I find this practice inappropriate and borderline a scam. For the restaurant: re-taste and make tweaks to your dishes for better taste. But please adjust your prices so you can pay your staff a fair wage, and adopt normal tipping practices.

We did not... read more Our group had a great time at Elixyr the drinks are comparable to the US in price and were delicious. The servers are attentive and incredibly kind. We did not eat during our visit, but on a previous visit really enjoyed the food. We went on a Thursday night and they had a DJ set so people were dancing and having a great time together. Would highly recommend checking this place out!
