View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about El Capitan:
Stay away from this place. The shrimp tacos are not fresh, taste horrible. The drinks aren't good either. Worst caiperinia I had in my life. Just stay away here this is not a fun or good place to go and eat. View all feedback.
It was chosen as a last minute decision and we were really happy we did it. Its very easy to get to from the tulum beaches, as its right on 15 when you come out of the state park. We needed a light lunch so we didnt feel too tired and they offered a good variety of seafood. It can be prepared in several different ways, fried, grilled, spicy, butter/garlic, etc. English was widely spoken. Cost was average for Tulum, especially right off the beaches.
This is a no-nonsense place for a breakfast with seafood. They also cook from the main menu during breakfast hours. I particularly enjoy their El Capitan tacos with shrimp. Find the most cheerful waiter, and you're good to go.
We eat dinner at a fish restaurant El Capitan, we order a fish fillet al diablo and a fish fillet with garlic, they serve it with rice and some vegetables, we pay 300 pesos. Light, quite tasty, but nothing special, it's not the best fish we've ever eaten.
Cheap eats. Food was good! The serving was huge! The server made a mistake by opening another bottle of coke, we told him we didn’t want it as no one ordered it. Later, it was still on the bill even though no one took or drink it
