I came here a year ago with my boyfriend and his brothers for dinner, and I remember the pizza was incredible (and I live in NYC). I came back this week when my hotel power went out and I needed a quiet place with good wifi to take calls. The staff at Bandera were so accommodating in giving me a spacious table in the back courtyard and checking on me periodically. I ordered the shakshuka and a smoothie and was not disappointed…the care for food both flavor and presentation is obvious. In a town where turnover is high and profit is often valued over experience, Bandera stands out as a local spot where relationship matters, and the food is DELICIOUS. Excellent wifi (enough for video calls even), good place for laptop work during slow hours and some access to outlets, great service, great food, beautiful setting.
