This place is the most expensive restaurant I have been to in my life (and I have eaten in high end places all over the world, see my reviews), to the point tha... read more This place is the most expensive restaurant I have been to in my life (and I have eaten in high end places all over the world, see my reviews), to the point that I decided to have one appetizer and leave. $14 USD for a bottle of water and $20 USD for a margarita are deterrents for me. The cheapest bottle of wine I was able to find in the menu was $120 USD The place itself is cool, nice architecture and view. Service is good and food was correct. And that is the problem, for the prices in the menu, you need to be completely blown away, and I was not. I paid $75 USD for a margarita, a bottle of water (asked for tap water) and a Tuna Tartar. The value proposition is not there in my opinion. There are much cheaper options in Tulum that offer a better value proposition (either better food, better views, better location or just cheaper for the same Bagatelle offers) Also, parking is not free (200MXN Tip) I will not come back
