The staff is always sweet and very helpful. Definitely recommend getting the eggplant platter or just any platter as a matter of fact. Worth the price.

For our first visit we decided to... read more Walking in my girlfriend and I were greeted in a warming manner. The lady behind the counter was very helpful and personable. For our first visit we decided to exercise their menu. Within approximately 10 minutes of seating ourselves our freshly cooked food (Skewer combo platter with hummus/pita, tabouli and hashawa rice, gyro platter with hummus/pita and tabouli, one large cabbage roll, three falafel) arrived along with samples of their multi herb and olive oil pita bread. To avoid the maximum character count I will be concise and say that all the dishes were optimal temperature and had robust flavor. Both my girlfriend and I were very pleased with our meals and we did not regret the commute. Furthermore, a few other notable points was their attentive staff and reasonable prices. Born and raised in Sau... read more Decided to swing by after seeing several rave reviews.. must say, the lamb shawarma was absolutely incredible. Just teaming with flavors. Born and raised in Saudi, I often crave authentic middle eastern fare.. I?m telling you, this was as close to a tasteof home as I?ve found.. . Enjoyed a conversation with one of the owners. Friendly staff, clean space, good atmosphere, and agreat little patio front when the weather gets cooler. Excited to try the rest of the menu.

The food is fre... read more I went to Shawkat's for the first time today for lunch and it was spectacular! I ordered the Jake's platter and I will be getting it again soon. The food is fresh and flavorful and the staff is friendly! They have a cute little patio outside that islovely to sit on during nice days. Can't recommend them enough!
