Born and raised in Saudi, I often crave authentic middle eastern fare.. I?m telling you, this was as close to a tasteof home as I?ve found.. . Enjoyed a conversation with one of the owners. Friendly staff, clean space, good atmosphere, and agreat little patio front when the weather gets cooler. Excited to try the rest of the menu.

The food is fre... read more I went to Shawkat's for the first time today for lunch and it was spectacular! I ordered the Jake's platter and I will be getting it again soon. The food is fresh and flavorful and the staff is friendly! They have a cute little patio outside that islovely to sit on during nice days. Can't recommend them enough!
