The staff is always sweet and very helpful. Definitely recommend getting the eggplant platter or just any platter as a matter of fact. Worth the price.

For our first visit we decided to... read more Walking in my girlfriend and I were greeted in a warming manner. The lady behind the counter was very helpful and personable. For our first visit we decided to exercise their menu. Within approximately 10 minutes of seating ourselves our freshly cooked food (Skewer combo platter with hummus/pita, tabouli and hashawa rice, gyro platter with hummus/pita and tabouli, one large cabbage roll, three falafel) arrived along with samples of their multi herb and olive oil pita bread. To avoid the maximum character count I will be concise and say that all the dishes were optimal temperature and had robust flavor. Both my girlfriend and I were very pleased with our meals and we did not regret the commute. Furthermore, a few other notable points was their attentive staff and reasonable prices. I hope this modest review helped :)

I ate here for lunch on a Thursday. I got the Gyros Platter which is a plate with a Gyro Pocket, Hummus, Pita Chips, and Tabouli. The food was all good. The gyros is a bit smaller than what I'm use to other places and I would have preferred more meat in mine. Hummus was good and so was the Tabouli. I also tried their Baklava and it was good. Not as soggy and messy as some others' I've tried. Customer service was great. Fast, friendly, and attentive. Restaurant is clean and in good repair. Though, there are some empty shelves and cases that should be filled or remove as they give it a ghost town look. Nothing superb or exciting, but good food a decent prices with excellent service.

We visited on a busy Friday afternoon and ordered a variety of dishes: chicken shawarma, lamb shawarma, za'atar bread, a chicken kebab platter with rice, tabbou... read more We visited on a busy Friday afternoon and ordered a variety of dishes: chicken shawarma, lamb shawarma, za'atar bread, a chicken kebab platter with rice, tabbouleh salad, hummus, and an extra side of labneh. The meal came with two slices of freshly baked pita bread. The lamb was tender, and the chicken kebab was cooked perfectly—juicy and well-seasoned, not dry like at some other places, and definitely not spicy. Overall, the food was delicious, and despite being a larger group, we were served relatively quickly. The only dish that disappointed us was the za'atar bread, which was hard instead of the soft texture we expected. I would rate this experience 5 out of 5. As for kid-friendliness, they provide high chairs and booster seats.

The food is fre... read more I went to Shawkat's for the first time today for lunch and it was spectacular! I ordered the Jake's platter and I will be getting it again soon. The food is fresh and flavorful and the staff is friendly! They have a cute little patio outside that is lovely to sit on during nice days. Can't recommend them enough!

Born and raised in Saudi, I often crave authentic middle eastern fare.. I’m telling you, this was as close to a taste of home as I’ve found.. . Enjoyed a conversation with one of the owners. Friendly staff, clean space, good atmosphere, and a great little patio front when the weather gets cooler. Excited to try the rest of the menu.
