First time at Zemams and trying Ethiopian food! Don?t be lame like me and request a fork and a plate. If you?re going to eat here, eat the dishes the way it?s suppose to be eaten. Had the spicy lamb beef as well as a sampler of some of the veggiedishes. Loved the cauliflower. Everything was DELICIOUS, the flavors are unique and delicious. The meats are so juicy andtender, not dry or over cooked at all. This place is for adventurous foodies who love and appreciate amazing food andcultures. Although I think everyone should try this place, I wouldn?t recommend this place to less adventurous folks. I?llprobably stick to taking my parents to Chilis. No one explained to us newcomers how we should eat the food, so definitely ask ifit?s your first time. Besides that, food came fast, service was great and staff is incredibly sweet! We will be regulars fromnow on!
It's ok, not bad food, just not my favorite cuisine. I prefer eating with utensils and have my own plate, rather than everyone smearing food from the pie tin in the center. The bread you swipe with, was slightly spongy and I felt bloated later. It's worthexperiencing one time.
Great restaurant with amazing Ethiopian food! Fun atmosphere, which retains the hole in the wall feel. Plenty of vegetarian and vegan options! We had the vegetable combo, which was awesome!
Great, delicious Ethiopian food. Generous portions. All the dishes I have tried so far have all been good. Don't be afraid to try the spicy ones!
*Update 2023: I recently dined here and found the food to be very average, lacking in flavor. The portion sizes are small, with the veggie sampler possibly only being enough for one person. This location was closed and the other location had to close early due to running out of injera.
